It is aimed at small businesses, freelancers, creatives and online sellers, with built-in apps for online stores, appointment bookings, blogs, events, online courses and email marketing, plus a Wix App Market of third-party add-ons. In January 2026 Wix added Harmony, which generates a site from a written prompt, and Aria, an AI agent that edits an existing site on request; developers can drop into Velo to add JavaScript to a page, connect a GitHub repository, or work against the open APIs.
