“I just took the KnowBe4 Mitnick training for employees and it seemed like the dumbest, most basic, common-sense stuff imaginable.”
The_Ineffable_One · reddit ·
“I would certainly look into getting moved to the MSP management portal, I've been very happy with it. Assuming you may have a bunch of individual client tenants currently I would hope they can link them in the same way you can have a client who already uses KnowBe4 linked to your management tenant.”

“We use it, and are happy enough. Not totally thrilled, but it works.”
night_filter · reddit ·
“The fact that there is no option for me to really dig into the product to see if it fits my needs is a large concern, so I am curious what others who either have used it and moved away or are currently using it thinks.”
Mibiz22 · reddit ·
“What's nice about KnowBe4 training campaigns is you don't have to use their library. You can upload a custom training video you make. We might do that”
NerdWhoLikesTrees · reddit ·
“An experienced admin isn’t really the target audience for something like knowbe4, neither is someone who’s familiar with email headers”
-Enders · reddit ·
“How will you know if they're falling for phishing attempts if you don't have something like KnowBe4 in place to show that? I don't think you've thought this through...”
CiscNoAmeraki · reddit ·
“The whole point of services like knowbe4 is to increase awareness and give people the opportunity to be better digital citizens. Not only at work, but in their personal lives too.”
SifferBTW · reddit ·
“KnowBe4 is a good way to 'test' your employees to see who will click on the email.”
AustinGroovy · reddit ·
“Ever since we rolled out Phishing tests through KnowBe4 we’ve seen a marked rise in users *actually* reporting suspected phishing attempts through the ticketing system which is handy, even if we instruct them to use the “Phishing Alert” button. I guess it’s better than them ignoring it or worse…”
omnicons · reddit ·
“We have been using KnowBe4 for a few years now, and I believe it's been helpful to our users at work and in their home lives. My greatest frustrations (not that you asked) are mobile users that do not use Outlook, forwarding simulations to a "Phish Alert" email does not give them credit, and some get flagged in PhishER as legitimate threats.”
MasterxOfxNone · reddit ·
“I hate the KnowBe4 stuff. The information itself could be useful to someone that doesn't deal with it every day, but I didn't need to be told that I shouldn't livestream a corporate event because it might show the CEO of another company attending because we are talking about buying them out (Yes, this is actually one of the examples).”
Zombie13a · reddit ·
“The training emails are making us more suspicious, but the real problem is the HR, marketing, internal training, and finance people signing up to external services that send rotten email from our domain (i.e., forge the sender...).”
FelisCantabrigiensis · reddit ·
“We recently signed up for KnowBe4 Security awareness training and their PhishER service. For those that use their service, what has been the best training material that kept employees engaged?”
lindino08 · reddit ·
“Going to try it this yr, but I did notice the pricing went up a little.”
JJettasDad · reddit ·
“I just did a full review of different solutions and ended up picking KnowBe4 over cheaper alternatives. What sets them apart from my findings is that they have a comprehensive program for simulation, training and automation.”
stahlhammer · reddit ·
“Knowbe4 provide security awareness training which is exactly what you get with Defender P2....”
kentishh · reddit ·
“Specifically, what do they provide that Defender P2 doesn't?”
RCTID1975 · reddit ·
“I am new to KnowBe4 and dont have much experience elsewhere other than Mimecast..... but I quite like KnowBe4's offering to be honest! Once setup correctly it seems to work with minimal intervention.”

“Ditch KnowBe4, they suck anyway.”

“I rolled out Knowbe4 4 years ago and it was great and actually got people to emai efore clicking or deleting the suspicious email.”
stonedcity_13 · reddit ·
“I've found that KnowBe4 turned my users into people who click on every link, into people who don't click on any links because they don't want to get in trouble, then ask IT about every single email they get.”
appleCIDRvodka · reddit ·
“That being said, for what they are, they provide good content and training.”
rm_-rf_allthethings · reddit ·
“We use knowbe4 and it's quite good. I've definitely seen a reduction and I like that their testing service includes templates that point out exactly what they did wrong as well as the training modules.”
numtini · reddit ·
“The phishing test have made a huge impact, when we first started, we had people clicking on all kinds of links in emails, now everyone is afraid to click on a link unless they are 100% sure it's legit because if they do they have to retake security training.”
Common_Bulky · reddit ·
“It was strange seeing the news about him yesterday after just going through the recorded training from him a few weeks ago.”
Galuvian · reddit ·

Remarkable_Tailor_90 · reddit ·
“Don't use KnowBe4. They're a huge scientology front. Just stay away from those dangerous idiots in general. Don't associate yourselves with giving them money and propping them up.”
GunsenGata · reddit ·
“I raised this with KnowBe4 tech support, as you might expect. "Hey your button is actually making our company less secure!" After I explained things a couple of different ways, got escalated to a higher level of support, other runaround, they reply that... brace yourself... "it's working as designed."”
cb424242 · reddit ·
“Knowbe4 sucks. They are anti MSP. Yearly billing sucks.”
bettereverydamday · reddit ·
“Skip KnowBe4 and go to a SAT company that actually gives a shit about MSPs. [phinsec.io](https://phinsec.io)”
OIT_Ray · reddit ·
“I use knowbe4 personally and hate how they try to run their program, but I have a killer partner manager who is awesome.”
Cheetah-Cheetos · reddit ·
“One big boost for us is the name recognition of knowbe4 carries a lot of weight so…. It would be great if they would be more flexible with the little guy. Frankly I think they are shooting themselves in the foot not offering a ramp up or probation period.”
Ok_Illustrator_7320 · reddit ·
“We use KB4 and I love them. Great company who sets the standard for security training. no questions asked.”
Same_Ole_IT_Dude · reddit ·
“KnowBe4 is notorious for being anti-MSP in a way that I just can't understand. The problem is all the other solutions I've evaluated -- especially the ones marketed towards MSPs -- look to be little more than efforts to satisfy regulatory or insurance requirements rather than actually provide anything useful.”
discosoc · reddit ·
“I had settled on KnowBe4 as my Plan A but have been met with a curve ball from their sales team. They have a 101 annual license minimum initial purchase, **which I am completely fine with**, but the issue is that they won't sell it to you unless you already have 90-100 of the licenses filled upon sale.”
Febre · reddit ·
“We were seeing the bounced messages as described using an MFA-enabled account.”
