1/3Claude Code is Anthropic's coding agent, which works directly against a codebase rather than in a chat window, and runs in the terminal, inside an IDE, on the desktop, in the browser and on mobile. It maps a repository with agentic search instead of asking you to pick files, splits larger jobs across parallel subagents, and can drive apps, browsers and dev tools through computer use. Sessions are collected in one agent view, work can be scheduled or triggered by an API call or event through routines, and it connects to Git, GitHub, GitLab, Slack, GitHub Actions and MCP servers. It is included with Claude Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans.
