“For power users and heavy agent use, 1Password and Bitwarden still fall short. I mean, they are still heavily tested and pretty useful, but I could argue that other password managers are better in other areas.”
Lumpy-Army-1702 · reddit ·
“Bitwarden: Cheapest way in. Open source, independently audited, and the free tier covers a surprising amount before you pay anything.”
Sbaakhir · reddit ·
“Both of which do not allow the actual secret to leave the device, the website sends a request, the yubikey does some maths with the secret key and sends back a response. It will only do so if the domains match so if you somehow ended up on a fake Bitwarden website, it wouldn’t work.”
Historical-Side883 · reddit ·
“Yeah, but at the end for example I use the yubikey just to access bitwarden, and then I have everything there. So the security key was enough for me for example :)”
robertogl · reddit ·

“I can understand why Bitwarden is focusing on enterprise features, but is an offline save mode still planned?”
zopyrus2 · reddit ·
“For individuals, a Bitwarden "Folder" functions similarly as 1Password's "Collections." It's the closest equivalent you'll get to tagging/labeling with current capabilities, but there's more coming soon in that respect - you can see some of the preview in the post!”
Ryan_BW · reddit ·
“I'm trying to help a colleague log into salesforce using a FIDO2 via bitwarden. I set it up and it's working fine, but when she tried to log into salesforce and it prompts for the key, she clicks other key and a Windows Security popup shows up that prompts for "Enter your security key PIN" -- we haven't set up a PIN on her laptop so I'm not sure on the fix here.”
Green465b · reddit ·
“Oh interesting - I assumed it was an issue with Sephora, so it never occurred to me to raise a bug report for a Bitwarden. But I will do, just in case it's helpful!”
assignpseudonym · reddit ·
“Bitwarden updated the desktop app to use a new method of copy/paste to the clipboard in the system, unfortunately the method they used is literally the remote desktop monitoring service.”
M3Core · reddit ·
“Try creating the passkey from a desktop browser with Bitwarden unlocked, but if it still saves to the browser, Sephora may simply not support third-party passkey providers correctly.”
OliveEquivalent9025 · reddit ·

fuzzynavelsniffer · reddit ·
“Dont, I'm planning to shift to 1Pass from Bitwarden”
night_movers · reddit ·

Safe-Perspective-767 · reddit ·
“Bitwarden is asking for a bit too much permissions to read data from a window, not a problem at all.”
autogyrophilia · reddit ·

Vaibhav_37 · reddit ·

Halcyon-Road349 · reddit ·
